Restoration & revegetation

Willow for Restoration Projects

Planning a streambank, wetland or revegetation project? Explore our willow plants and cuttings, then send Hannah your material requirements to check availability and fit.

Start with the species and plant format

Western Slope Willow is based in Montrose, Colorado. Our shop includes coyote willow cuttings and peachleaf willow plants. Restoration projects often specify particular species, source regions and dimensions. Sharing those details early helps us give you a useful answer.

Send your project requirements

A short material list is the best starting point. Please include:

Ask about a restoration order, email weis.hannah56@gmail.com, or call (405) 697-7559. Hannah can confirm which requirements our available stock can meet.

Propagation cuttings and project live stakes

Our listed 12-inch coyote willow cuttings are an unrooted propagation product. A restoration plan may call for longer or thicker dormant live stakes, rooted plants or another format. Confirm the required dimensions before ordering a substitute. Ask separately about larger sizes or quantities so we can check what is possible.

Match the material to the site

Species, stock origin, moisture conditions and planting timing all matter. Growing a plant in Colorado does not by itself establish its original source region. If your project requires source documentation, include that requirement with your inquiry.

The USDA NRCS guide to willow and cottonwood restoration explains how site conditions, dormant harvest and careful handling affect establishment. Use your project designer's material schedule and site plan when choosing stock.

Ask the grower.
